The Training and Development Office works toward achieving the strategic objectives of the Health Sciences Research Center and committed to offer the best training services to researchers through collaborations with national and international experts and exploiting the internal scientific and technical resources. Around 114 workshops have been conducted, and 2000 researchers have been trained.
The service was launched in September 2016, Research Training Calendar (RTC) includes basic and advanced training in health research skills through short and intensive activities. The program aims at achieving the strategic objectives of PNU by means of consolidating academic competence and advancing the quality of scientific research.
Attending this program is not exclusive to PNU's faculty and students. HSRC training opportunities are open to all interested researchers, whom we care to give the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of distinguished and specialized researchers. We aspire with this program to meet the objectives of the national Saudi vision 2030, and to establish a strong infrastructure for the scientific research culture.
All training activities are designed to fulfil the aspirations of researchers; thus, the program is provided by specialized and expert trainers in the field of clinical research. Several activities have been granted the CME accreditation by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
RTC topics:
The service was launched in summer 2021, The Research Summer School (HSRC-RSS) Intensive training program is designed for undergraduate health related profession students who are interested in developing their clinical research skills to publish a scientific paper through lectures, workshops, and practical experience. This program conduct during the summer semester for 8weeks, with more than 300 hours.

RTC is developed by a specialist team in the field of health research training specialists, IT, and graphic design in the Health Sciences Research Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. RTC was first introduced in September 2016 and the website was launched in August 2018.
