Abstract:
The use of cells as a therapeutic agent is the cornerstone for cellular therapy. Safety, replace, repair and restoration of biological functions is a requirement for a cell type to be a successful candidate for cell therapy. Many reported the use of stem cells and their secrotomes as a therapeutic candidate in regenerative medicine playing a significant role in immune-modularity, anti-inflammatory and tissue repair.
In this workshop, we will present the therapeutic potential of our in-house characterized Placental derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (pMSC) and how pMSC are isolated from a full-term placenta to investigate its therapeutic potential.
