About Activity
The aim of this workshop is to introduce the basic principles and applications of flow cytometry. This workshop is composed of lectures and practical sessions on cell death and apoptosis assay.
Day 1:
Lecture: Introduction to flow cytometry and its application (10:00-11:00)
Lecture: Monitoring apoptosis by flow cytometry (11:00-12:00)
Practical: Drug addition to cells for apoptosis studies (12:30 - 1:30)
Practical: Instrument set up, calibration and compensation setting. (1:30 - 2:30)
Day 2:
Practical: Preparation of samples for apoptosis assay; cell staining techniques (10:00 - 12:00)
Practical: Data acquiring and analysis (12:30 - 1:30)
closing and remarks (1:30 - 2:00)
