This course will include the following:
1) Dimensions and methods of developing professionalism.
2) Commitment to and compliance with institutional policies, regulations, standard operating procedures, and practice guidelines.
3) Define conflict of interest (pharma, insurance, research) and how to prevent it.
4) Define professional malpractice, medical errors, medication errors, medical negligence: causes, consequences, and litigation.
