About Activity
This course will include:
1) Understanding research ethics and regulations: International and national Saudi codes.
2) Understanding IRB: roles and functions, operating procedures. KPI, adverse events reporting, auditing and monitoring.
3) Knowledge of research subject rights: autonomy and informed consent, privacy and confidentiality, disclosure, human research subject protection.
4) Conflicts of interest in research and how to deal with pharma sponsors.
